As a special feature of our edition, we have added four Princesses to the traditional court cards (King – Queen – Horseman – Valet).
If you use these instead of the traditional servants (valets), you get a balanced set of two male and two female, two young and two older figures, as you would find on old, hand-painted tarot cards from the 15th century.
Such balance was once the hallmark of the science of the Four Elements, which was the secret basis on for the development of the original tarot deck.
